

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh reviewed the arrangements for the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram, scheduled for August 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the airport to the nation. Lokesh instructed officials and NDA leaders to ensure flawless coordination, as nearly three lakh people are expected to attend the inauguration and the Prime Minister’s public meeting.
The minister also directed officials to organize a grand welcome for the Prime Minister with a record-breaking Dhimsa dance performance involving around 13,000 participants. Around 5,000 buses will transport attendees from 36 Assembly constituencies, and arrangements have been made for drinking water, breakfast and meals. Officials said LED screens, liaison officers and senior IAS officers have been deployed to ensure smooth management of the event.
