Full Ownership Rights for Poor Families’ Homes in Visakhapatnam – CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the government is working to fulfil the long-standing dream of thousands of poor families who have been waiting for legal ownership of their homes for decades. Ahead of his visit to Visakhapatnam tomorrow, he shared the details in a post on X. He said full ownership rights would be provided to 28,445 families who have constructed houses on government land. The government is also regularising 19,33,853 square yards of land worth ₹8,874 crore across 11 mandals.

Naidu said title deeds were being issued to provide full rights over the residences of 25,000 poor families. He said permanent ownership rights would give each family property security, confidence about the future and a sense of dignity. The Chief Minister added that ordinary families were being made partners in the development of Visakhapatnam as the city moves towards becoming a world-class urban centre.
