Financial Fraud Allegations: YouTuber Ramanandana Appears Before Police

YouTuber Ramanandana, who is facing allegations of financial fraud, appeared before the Ibrahimpatnam police on Tuesday. According to reports, she told the police that she would leave for London if the lookout circular issued against her was withdrawn. Through her lawyers, she also requested the police to question her husband Madhukar once he returns to India. The case stems from a complaint filed by a man named Kranthi Kumar, who alleged that he was cheated with promises of securing employment and certificates of sponsorship through Destiny Consultancy.

Police had questioned Ramanandana on the 8th of this month, but she reportedly did not cooperate with the investigation. A fresh notice was subsequently issued directing her to appear for questioning on September 16. Acting on her lawyers’ advice, she sent a request letter to the police and appeared at the station a day earlier, on Tuesday. CI Subrahmanyam and SI Raju questioned her from 12 noon to 3 p.m. She reportedly did not provide satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the police. However, she is said to have submitted written responses to some questions asked during the earlier inquiry.
