Fast-Track Courts Announced: Modi

Protests demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak have intensified across the country. The agitation, which began at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, was initially led by a group identified as the “Cockroach Janata Party” and has now gained support from several opposition parties. The issue has also disrupted proceedings in Parliament, with repeated adjournments highlighting the seriousness of the controversy.

Amid these developments, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday made a significant announcement, stating that the government will establish fast-track courts to ensure swift and strict punishment for those responsible for examination paper leaks. He emphasized that individuals attempting to harm the future of the youth will not be spared under any circumstances and assured that safeguarding students’ welfare remains a top priority for his government.
