Education Should Be Given Top Priority: Abhijeet Deepke

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Deepke responded to criticism over his foreign education, stating that he studied in the United States through a scholarship from Boston University along with an education loan. He said the loan is still being repaid. Deepke rejected comparisons between his movement and protests in Bangladesh and Nepal, saying India has a legacy of leaders like Mahatma Gandhi who inspired the world.

Deepke said the recent student protest at Jantar Mantar was peaceful and involved no violence. He stressed that education should become a key election issue and called spending on education an investment in the nation’s future. He demanded compensation for families of students affected by NEET irregularities and said there are currently no plans to launch a political party.
