Diwali bonus of more than One lakh each

Usually, the employers share the joy of giving sweets and gifts to the employees during the festive season. But a garment merchant from Surat, Gujarat, gave an unexpected gift to his employees. Each of them was given a cash bonus of more than Rs 1 lakh. Employees were moved by his generosity. A video of a woman crying while receiving a bonus has gone viral on social media.

Ram Swaroop Munde, who runs a garment business in Surat, gave the bonus to 20 of his employees. The notes of Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 500 were neatly arranged on a silver plate and given to each of them. The employees were initially surprised to see the huge amount of cash. After that, he was overwhelmed with joy. Munde's family members were also present at the event.

Munde said he had experienced poverty in his childhood and was aware of the financial hardships faced by families during festivals. He said he considers the people who work in his shop as family members and not just employees. Their hard work and dedication throughout the year is the key to business growth.

"We have decided to give more than one lakh rupees each to the employees so that they can buy essentials for their families on Diwali and celebrate the festival with joy," he said. He said he took this decision without thinking about the cost. As the video went viral, netizens praised the businessman's affection and generosity towards the employees.
