The makers of the recently released film Killer had announced a ₹1 crore reward for anyone who could correctly predict the major second-half twist. However, actor, producer and director Purvaj has now revealed that no participant managed to guess the twist accurately. Around 5,000 people reportedly submitted screenshots as part of the contest, but none came up with the exact answer.
Instead, the makers have selected 10 participants who came closest to predicting the twist. Each winner will receive ₹1 lakh, taking the total prize money to ₹10 lakh. Purvaj also announced that he would host a lunch for the winners. Speaking about the film's business, he claimed that Killer earned ₹2 crore in gross theatrical collections and generated around ₹8 crore through OTT and other business avenues. He said the film was profitable against an investment of ₹5 crore and confirmed plans for Killer 2. Actress Jyothi Purvaj added that the film received a positive response from audiences and critics.
