The NDA alliance's winning streak in the Parishad elections has continued in Vizianagaram district, with TDP candidate Pashala Neeraja securing victory in the Bondapalli ZPTC constituency. She defeated YSRCP leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Botsa Satyanarayana's daughter, Anusha, by a margin of 5,136 votes. Neeraja's victory triggered celebrations among alliance supporters in Bondapalli, while the YSRCP suffered a setback as Anusha had been considered a contender for the Zilla Parishad chairperson post.
Four members of Botsa Satyanarayana's family had reportedly planned to contest the ZPTC elections. However, the nomination filed by his nephew Chaitanya from the Pusapatirega constituency was rejected. His daughter Anusha contested from Bondapalli, daughter-in-law Botsa Poojitha from Garividi, and sister Sangamreddy Venkatalakshmi from Gurla. Poojitha won the Garividi ZPTC seat by a margin of 1,599 votes against TDP candidate Kimidi Sandhya. Meanwhile, Siri Sahasra, daughter of Botsa's nephew Majji Srinivasa Rao (Chinna Srinu), who joined the TDP ahead of the local body elections, won the Terlam ZPTC seat.
