Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said the development initiatives and welfare programmes implemented by the coalition government in rural areas were the key reasons behind its success in the ZPTC and MPTC elections. He thanked voters for supporting candidates of the Jana Sena, Telugu Desam Party and BJP alliance, stating that the election results reflected the public’s confidence in the government. He highlighted the priority given to rural infrastructure, including the reconstruction of roads, connectivity to previously unconnected areas and the acceleration of drinking water supply projects.
Pawan Kalyan said the state had effectively utilised funds provided by the Centre, including VB-G RAM G and SASCI funds, with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. He also credited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s administrative experience for helping the government move forward. Highlighting the support extended to farmers, he said payments for procured paddy were being credited to their bank accounts within 24 to 48 hours. He asserted that rural development, welfare measures and timely payments to farmers had strengthened public confidence in the alliance and assured that the government would live up to people’s expectations.
