A deep depression currently centred over Chhattisgarh is expected to influence weather conditions across Telangana, bringing widespread heavy rainfall over the next two days. The weather department has issued red alerts for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, and Jagtial districts. Orange alerts have been announced for Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu.
Just four days ago, Telangana was facing a rainfall deficit of nearly 30 percent. However, persistent rainfall over the last two days has helped the state recover to normal rainfall levels. Yellow alerts have been issued for Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Siddipet, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Warangal, Mahabubabad, and Bhadradri Kothagudem, with residents advised to remain cautious and closely follow official weather updates.
