Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Sunday inspected the proposed elevated corridors at Paradise Junction in Hyderabad. Accompanied by Hyderabad Metro Rail MD Sarfaraz Ahmed, IAS, and other senior officials, he reviewed the proposed alignments, connectivity, land acquisition requirements and infrastructure needs. Officials explained the plans for an elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairy Farm Road along NH-44, as well as another corridor from Paradise through Bollaram, Gunrock Enclave and Shamirpet to the ORR Junction along SH-1, also known as Rajiv Rahadari.
The proposed corridors are expected to improve connectivity between Paradise, Secunderabad, Bollaram, Gunrock Enclave and Shamirpet while providing faster access from northern Hyderabad to the ORR. Jaju directed officials to expedite issues related to land acquisition, utility shifting, inter-departmental coordination and necessary approvals. He stressed the need for an integrated plan that considers future traffic requirements and ensures better coordination between the elevated corridors, Metro Rail, major roads and the ORR.
