Global crude oil prices have surged sharply amid escalating war tensions involving Iran, creating turbulence in international energy markets. The price of crude oil per barrel has crossed the 100-dollar mark, reaching 109.14 dollars. This is the first time in nearly four years that crude oil prices have climbed beyond the 100-dollar level, raising concerns among governments and industries worldwide.
Market reports indicate that crude oil prices jumped nearly 16 percent in a single day. Over the past week alone, prices have increased by more than 33 dollars, moving dramatically from around 70 dollars to 109.14 dollars per barrel. Analysts say the sudden spike reflects fears of supply disruptions and growing geopolitical tensions affecting global oil production and trade.
