

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to undertake an overseas tour in the third week of this month, aiming to bring global education standards to the state and enhance youth skills. The visit is likely between August 18 and 20, with travel planned from Hyderabad to the UK and then to the United States. Senior officials, including advisor K. Ramakrishna Rao, are expected to accompany him. During the tour, the Chief Minister will visit world-renowned universities, sports institutions, and skill development centres, holding discussions with experts and officials.
The tour is expected to focus on collaborations and signing MoUs to promote development opportunities in Telangana. With several international universities already expressing interest in setting up campuses in the state, efforts will be made to invite more prestigious institutions. Special emphasis will also be laid on strengthening the Skills University and attracting global organisations. Additionally, the Chief Minister is likely to explore strategies to boost sports infrastructure and performance, aiming for Telangana’s youth to achieve international recognition, including success in the Olympics.
