Kambham Lake in Markapur district is a breathtaking man-made marvel that stretches beyond the eye can see. The vast expanse of water is so enormous that it cannot be fully captured in a single frame, even with drone cameras. Built during the Vijayanagara Empire, this historic reservoir stands as a testament to ancient engineering brilliance.

Spread across nearly 6,000 acres, the lake extends about 7 km in length and 3.5 km in width, with a storage capacity of around 3 TMC.
