Congress Searches for New Telangana In-Charge

Telangana Congress may get a new in-charge as Meenakshi Natarajan is reportedly set to take a break from party responsibilities for around 10 months to pursue higher studies abroad. Her proposed absence has prompted the Congress high command to begin the process of identifying a replacement to oversee the party’s affairs in Telangana.

According to the reports, several senior Congress leaders are being considered for the position. The names doing the rounds include Mukul Wasnik, Shaktisinh Gohil, Digvijaya Singh and Ashok Gehlot. The final decision on the new Telangana in-charge is expected to be taken by the Congress high command.
