Amid the ongoing political debate over land holdings in Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reportedly directed Congress MPs to undertake a series of programmes over four consecutive days. The MPs have been asked to visit lands associated with former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family and examine the details. They are also expected to visit the Janwada property and farmhouses linked to BRS leaders as part of the programme.
The state government has already ordered an inquiry into land parcels surrounding KCR’s farmhouse at Erravelli. Revenue officials have been directed to examine the land records and submit a report. Against this backdrop, the proposed visits by Congress MPs have gained political significance. Claims regarding ownership and alleged irregularities remain subject to verification through official records and the ongoing inquiry.
