CM Revanth Reddy Congratulates Telangana Eagle Force Team

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated the Telangana Eagle Force after it received national recognition for its anti-narcotics efforts. At the 3rd National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force Heads held in New Delhi, Eagle Force Director Sandeep Shandilya received the national-level award on behalf of Telangana Police. Reports said Telangana scored more than 80 per cent across seven parameters prescribed by the Union Government for assessing ANTF performance.

Revanth Reddy said combating drug trafficking and substance abuse cannot be the responsibility of the police alone. He called upon parents, teachers, voluntary organisations, associations, public representatives and citizens to work together to protect young people from drugs. He also urged the public to remain vigilant and report information related to drug sales and consumption to the authorities. The Chief Minister expressed the hope that the Eagle Force would work with greater determination towards building a drug-free Telangana by December 2029.
