CM Angry Over Delay in Warangal Super Speciality Hospital Works

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewed the progress of the Warangal Super Speciality Hospital works at the Bodhi Pavilion of MCR HRD. He expressed dissatisfaction over the delay despite funds being sanctioned through the green channel and directed officials to accelerate the construction. The Chief Minister instructed that work should continue round the clock for the next 30 days and asked officials to prepare a detailed work schedule. He also directed CMO officials to conduct regular field-level reviews and assign a dedicated officer for each major work. The Health Department has also recently instructed officials to complete the project within the stipulated timeline while maintaining quality standards.

Revanth Reddy also reviewed the underground drainage works and other development projects in Warangal. He stressed the need for better road connectivity linking Warangal with Khammam and Karimnagar and called for improved connectivity ahead of the proposed airport opening. Officials were asked to prepare long-term plans to develop Warangal on the lines of a major metropolitan city, with special focus on temple and forest tourism. The Chief Minister also directed authorities to plan better facilities around the Bhadrakali Temple and Ramappa Temple, besides preparing plans for a large bus terminal with comprehensive amenities.
