Class 10 Student Shivani Dies by Suicide in Polavaram

A Class 10 student named Shivani died by suicide at Irlapalli in the Polavaram area, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. The reason behind the incident has not yet been established. Shivani had recently participated in the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ programme, where she shared a meal with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and also took a selfie with him. Authorities are investigating the case to determine the circumstances that preceded her death.

Expressing deep grief over Shivani’s death, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to conduct a comprehensive investigation. He also appealed to students facing difficulties to seek support from family members, friends, teachers or other trusted people rather than dealing with distress alone. The Chief Minister said the government would stand by students and stressed that support and solutions can be found during difficult situations.
