

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and sorrow over the demise of veteran actress Sowcar Janaki. The veteran actress passed away at the age of 94, leaving behind a remarkable legacy spanning several decades in Indian cinema.
Chandrababu Naidu recalled Sowcar Janaki’s contribution to the film industry, noting that she had acted in more than 400 films and received several awards and honours during her illustrious career. He said that although she is no longer physically present, the memorable characters she portrayed would ensure that she remains forever in the hearts of audiences.
The Chief Minister conveyed his deepest condolences to Sowcar Janaki’s family members and prayed for eternal peace to her soul. He described her passing as a great loss to the film fraternity and remembered her as an actress whose work left a lasting impression on generations of moviegoers.
