The Centre has asked the Chief Secretaries of all states to compile details of people who may be missing following yesterday’s incident in Nepal. The information is expected to include their names, contact numbers and other relevant details. The move is aimed at creating a consolidated list of individuals whose whereabouts remain unknown after the incident.
The collected information will be shared with the Ministry of External Affairs to help officials establish contact with affected families and assist efforts to trace those who may be missing. The data is also expected to support the government’s coordination with families and facilitate necessary assistance during the ongoing efforts.
