At Jagannathapuram Jammishetti Centre in Kakinada, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have once again grabbed attention with a unique idol. The organisers, known for creating innovative Ganesh idols every year, had previously made an idol using James chocolates. This year, they have gone a step further by creating a distinctive Ganesh idol entirely with cashews, adding a special attraction to the celebrations.
The organisers have created an impressive 18-foot-tall cashew Ganesh idol using around 500 kg of high-quality cashews. Skilled artisans specially brought from the Chirala region worked day and night to craft the idol, giving every part an attractive finish with cashews. The unique idol has become a major attraction in Jagannathapuram, drawing devotees not only from the locality but also from surrounding areas.
