Bogatha Waterfalls in Spate... Tourists Restricted

Continuous rainfall in Mulugu district and upstream regions has significantly increased the flow at the Bogatha Waterfalls in Wazeedu mandal. The cascading waters are gushing down powerfully from the hills, creating a spectacular yet dangerous scene. Floodwaters have filled the natural pool and are overflowing near the pagoda area, indicating the intensity of the inflow.

Due to the rising water levels and the dangerous flow in the Cheekupalli stream, forest officials have imposed a temporary ban on visits to the waterfall. Authorities have urged tourists to avoid the area until conditions improve, prioritizing public safety amid the heightened flood situation.
