The NDA alliance is reportedly set to cross the 300-seat mark in the Lok Sabha for the first time in nearly two years, following reports that around 20 Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs have expressed support for the ruling coalition. The development comes amid an internal crisis within the TMC and has sparked widespread political speculation.
According to remarks attributed to senior TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, a section of the party’s MPs is reportedly inclined towards supporting the NDA. If confirmed, the move could significantly strengthen the ruling alliance’s position in Parliament. The development has added a fresh dimension to national politics, especially as opposition leaders continue discussions under the INDIA bloc framework.
