Ram Charan and director Sukumar are reportedly gearing up to collaborate on another big-budget film. After winning audiences over with their 2018 blockbuster Rangasthalam, the duo is set to reunite for RC17, raising expectations among fans. The project is currently in pre-production, and reports suggest that it may be officially launched in Hyderabad on November 1. Regular shooting is expected to begin in early 2027. However, the filmmakers have yet to reveal the storyline or the complete cast details.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Sukumar is considering a prominent Tamil actor for a crucial role in the film. Although the team initially considered a senior Tamil star, Vijay Sethupathi's name is now reportedly being discussed, keeping commercial considerations in mind. Speculation about discussions for the role has become a talking point in film circles. However, the makers have not officially confirmed the casting, and the reports remain unverified industry buzz.
