Bharathi Cements Moves High Court Over Plant Disruption

Bharathi Cements has moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking intervention over alleged disruptions at its plant. In a petition filed by company director Balaji, the company claimed that certain individuals entered the premises without authorization and obstructed operations for three days. The disruption has reportedly affected limestone mining activities and could potentially lead to a halt in production.

The company further alleged that despite approaching the district administration and police, the Collector and Superintendent of Police did not respond to its complaints. Bharathi Cements told the court that continued disruption could threaten the livelihoods of thousands of workers and sought appropriate directions to the police to ensure the smooth functioning of the plant.
