Amaravati: Preparations Gather Pace for Mandal and ZPTC Elections

Preparations for the upcoming Mandal and ZPTC elections in Andhra Pradesh have gathered pace, with officials focusing on preliminary arrangements. As part of the preparations, the selection of polling centres is scheduled to begin from September 14. The exercise is aimed at ensuring that the polling infrastructure is finalised well ahead of the local body elections.

Officials have also planned a meeting with representatives of political parties on September 16 to discuss the election-related arrangements. The consultations are expected to provide an opportunity for political parties to raise issues and offer suggestions regarding polling centres and other logistical aspects. With the election process approaching, the administration is stepping up preparations to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the Mandal and ZPTC polls.
