SJP founder Abhijeet Dipke faced ridicule from some influencers during his visit to Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district to meet tribal families. Responding to the incident, Dipke took a sarcastic swipe at the Madhya Pradesh government. He said some people criticised him as if he were the Chief Minister and, in an apparent satirical post, announced his resignation as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, citing moral responsibility for the deaths of tribal children in Balaghat.
Dipke criticised the government over the compensation announced for the families of the deceased children. He said the government initially announced ₹2 lakh compensation and later increased it to ₹4 lakh following protests by tribal communities. He also alleged that authorities had failed to take action against medical officials allegedly responsible for the deaths. Dipke said he felt he had no moral right to continue in the position, framing his remarks as a criticism of the government’s handling of the issue.
