Telangana has recorded significant growth in exports, strengthening its position in the national economy. According to the latest Reserve Bank of India report, the state’s exports rose from 14,026 million dollars in 2023-24 to 19,123 million dollars in 2024-25, marking a growth of about 36 percent.
The growth is mainly driven by the IT and pharmaceutical sectors. Hyderabad based pharma clusters and IT hubs have played a key role in boosting exports. Along with drugs and software services, engineering goods, chemicals, and agricultural products have also contributed significantly, helping Telangana secure the seventh position among Indian states.
