

Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has launched a new electric scooter in the market, claiming the highest riding range in the country. Named Simple Ultra, the scooter is said to offer an impressive range of up to 400 kilometers on a single charge.
According to the company, the new model is powered by the country’s largest 6.5 kWh battery pack in the electric scooter segment. It can achieve a top speed of 115 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. The company stated that more technical and commercial details of the Simple Ultra will be announced soon.
Speaking at the launch, founder and chief executive officer Suhas Rajkumar said that the scooter has been developed without compromising on performance or range, keeping customer expectations at the core.
Along with the Ultra, the company also introduced three more scooters. Among them is the Simple One Gen 2, which offers a range of 190 kilometers and is priced at ₹1,49,999. This model is available in two battery variants. The version with a 4.5 kWh battery delivers a range of 236 kilometers and is priced at ₹1,69,999, while the 5 kWh variant offers a range of 265 kilometers with prices starting from ₹1,77,999.
