He expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the programme and urged people to set aside their differences and celebrate festivals together with love and affection. He emphasised that the primary objective of Alai Balai is to promote friendship, unity and harmony among people. Describing Vijayadashami as a symbol of the victory of good over evil, he expressed hope that the spirit of the festival would strengthen brotherhood and mutual understanding in society. He added that festivals should serve not only as occasions for celebration but also as opportunities to spread positive messages and strengthen relationships among people with different opinions and political beliefs.
Dattatreya also expressed his desire for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to progress through mutual cooperation and development. He said that friendly relations between the people of both states should continue and called for collective progress without regional divisions. He stated that this year’s Alai Balai programme was being organised under the slogan “Nasha Mukt Bharat, Viksit Bharat,” highlighting the importance of building a drug-free India and transforming the country into a developed nation. He stressed the need to create public awareness about these goals and encouraged everyone to contribute to society’s progress. He called upon people to uphold the principle of unity in diversity, share mutual respect and affection, and work together to build a harmonious and progressive society.
