Google has unveiled a new feature called Vibe Coding for its AI Studio platform, allowing developers to create full-fledged AI-powered apps simply by describing their ideas in plain text. The chatbot then automatically generates the required code and even provides a live preview of the app.Alongside this update, Google has also rolled out access to two of its advanced AI models — the Veo 3 video generation model and the Nano Banana image editing model, both now available to developers through the AI Studio. Users can even deploy their generated apps directly from the same interface.
The concept of Vibe Coding — a term popular in pop culture — is all about AI-assisted software creation. Instead of manually coding, developers simply “orchestrate” by explaining what they want, refining results through prompts, and providing feedback. The AI does the heavy lifting behind the scenes. This new style of development has gained traction because it lowers barriers for beginners and speeds up app creation dramatically. Many large organizations, including Google itself, are already adopting vibe coding internally.
In AI Studio, Google’s algorithms analyze the user’s context and intent, automatically linking the right AI models and APIs to make app creation seamless. There’s even an “I’m Feeling Lucky” button that generates a random app idea for inspiration.
