Suvarna Lakshmi Appointed Chairperson of HCA Women’s Selection Committee

Suvarna Lakshmi has been appointed chairperson of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Women’s Selection Committee. Retired Justice Naveen Rao, chief of the one-member committee overseeing the association, approved the appointments. Along with Suvarna Lakshmi as chairperson, Anita Mishra, Sangeetha, Keerthana and Ekta Saxena have been named as members of the women’s selection panel.

The newly constituted committee will remain in office for one year. During its tenure, the panel will be responsible for selecting Hyderabad’s senior and junior women’s cricket teams for various competitions. The appointments are aimed at ensuring a structured selection process for the city’s women’s teams across age groups and levels.
