

The Swiss Open badminton tournament will begin on Tuesday. Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannay will enter the fray in the men's singles category in this prestigious competition. While Srikanth will face Hong Kong's Jason Ganavan in the first round, Prannay will compete against Japan's Koki Watambe. Another Indian player, Tarun Mannepalli, will face Japanese star Kenta Nishimoto.
In the men's doubles category, the Satwiksairaj-Chirag Shetty pair will face Singapore's Keith Wesley-Kubo pair in the first round. Pullela Gayathri-Trisa pair in the women's doubles and Arjun-Hariharan pair in the men's doubles are also in the fray. However, Indian star shuttler PV Sindhu, who was stranded in Dubai due to the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, withdrew from the tournament.
