The ICC has released the latest Women’s ODI rankings and Team India’s star batter Smriti Mandhana has successfully retained her top position once again. Recently, the Indian women’s cricket team toured Australia, winning the T20 series but falling short in the ODI and Test series. These results have led to some key changes in the rankings.
Smriti Mandhana continues to lead with 790 points, followed closely by South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt with 782 points and Beth Mooney with 749 points in third place. Team India captain Harmanpreet Kaur remains steady in the 8th position with 652 points. Another prominent batter, Jemimah Rodrigues, has dropped one spot to 12th with 635 points.
In the bowling rankings, Australia’s Alana King tops the chart with 775 points. These rankings clearly reflect the current standing of women cricketers and their performances on the international stage.
