PV Sindhu Ends 2025 Season Early to Focus on Recovery

Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has decided to withdraw from all remaining BWF Tour events in 2025 to prioritize her recovery from a lingering foot injury.

The 30-year-old star said the decision was made after consulting with her medical team and coach, emphasizing that full recovery is her top priority. “Injuries test your patience but also fuel your desire to come back stronger,” Sindhu shared.

Under the guidance of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala and her support team, Sindhu has already begun rehabilitation and fitness work. Despite a challenging season marked by early exits, the former world champion remains motivated and focused on making a strong comeback in 2026.
