Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag has reportedly come under the scanner after allegedly being spotted using an e-cigarette inside the dressing room during the IPL match against Punjab Kings on April 28. The incident, which was caught on camera, has sparked widespread debate across cricketing circles regarding player conduct and discipline within team environments.
According to sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expected to seek clarification from Parag, as vaping is prohibited under Indian law. An IPL official stated that further action will depend on his response, while discussions have also emerged over privacy concerns in dressing rooms versus player accountability. If found guilty of violating regulations, Parag could face disciplinary action, including possible fines or match suspensions.
