India Defeat Bangladesh in Women’s Asian Games

India registered a commanding victory over Bangladesh in the Women’s Asian Games, winning by 114 runs. Batting first, India posted 195 for four in 20 overs. Shafali Verma led the charge with an unbeaten century, while Harmanpreet Kaur scored 40 and Smriti Mandhana contributed 37 runs.

Chasing 196, Bangladesh struggled against India’s bowling attack and were bowled out for 81 in 15.4 overs. Nandani Sharma and Deepti Sharma picked up three wickets each to dismantle the Bangladesh batting line-up. India eventually sealed a comprehensive 114-run victory.
