India delivered another strong performance at the Commonwealth Games, adding more medals to its tally across multiple events. Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra secured the silver medal in the men's javelin throw, while fellow Indian athlete Yashveer Singh finished with bronze. The Indian contingent also celebrated two gold medals in judo, strengthening the country's overall position in the medal standings.
India has now won a total of 23 medals, including 5 gold, 12 silver, and 6 bronze medals, placing the nation in the Top 10 of the medal table. With 10 Indian boxers qualifying for the finals, the country is assured of at least 10 additional medals. If several of those finalists convert their appearances into gold medals, India could move into the Top 5 of the overall standings.
