Congress MP Shashi Tharoor Greets Coach Gambhir, Gambhir Says Thanks

Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir made interesting comments after receiving support from Congress senior leader, MP Shashi Tharoor. Gambhir replied, “Dr. Shashi Tharoor, thank you very much. Once the dust settles, the realities and reasoning behind the ‘unlimited authority’ a coach has will become clear. Until then, it’s fun for me to compare myself only with my best own people”, he tweeted.

It is known that Team India lost the ODI series against New Zealand. After this defeat, Gambhir faced criticism for the decisions he took as head coach. In this context, Tharoor expressed his support for Gambhir. “I spoke to my old friend Gautam Gambhir in Nagpur. After the Prime Minister, he has one of the toughest jobs in India. Despite being criticized by millions daily, he moves forward calmly and courageously”, Tharoor praised.
