Centurion Likely to Be Team India’s Base in World Cup 2027

Excitement around the ICC ODI World Cup 2027 has already begun. The tournament will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, with South Africa expected to host most of the high-profile matches. Zimbabwe and Namibia are likely to stage only a limited number of games, making South Africa the primary venue for the event.

The biggest discussion currently revolves around the venue where Team India is expected to play most of its league-stage matches. Among South Africa's iconic stadiums, Kingsmead in Durban and SuperSport Park in Centurion have emerged as the frontrunners.
