Bihar batter Akshara Gupta created history in the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy by scoring an unbeaten 306 runs. The record breaking innings came during the opening match held at Sandis Compound ground in Bhagalpur, marking one of the highest individual scores in women’s domestic cricket history.
Akshara dominated the opposition bowlers from the start, scoring 306 runs off just 126 balls. Her innings included 55 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 242.86, staying unbeaten for 233 minutes. She reached her half century in just 16 balls and her century in 34 balls before going on to complete a stunning triple century. Her performance received high praise from the Bihar Cricket Association officials.
