TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud said that the BJP has been reduced to zero in Telangana. He questioned the need for the BJP national president to visit the state ahead of municipal elections when the Centre has failed to allocate anything to Telangana in the Union Budget. He alleged that BJP leaders focus only on provoking religious divisions and have done nothing for the people of the state.
Mahesh Goud stated that the state government has given full freedom to local in charge ministers and that certain MLAs who made mistakes have been advised to correct them. He added that even BJP MLAs are cooperating with the government on development works, while some BRS MLAs are also working in coordination with the ruling party.
The TPCC chief also launched sharp criticism against Pawan Kalyan, alleging that BJP leaders are seeking his support by saying “bhikshaam dehi”. He claimed that Pawan Kalyan is an Andhra Pradesh leader who has acted against Telangana’s interests in the past. Mahesh Goud asserted that the people of Telangana will not vote based on Pawan Kalyan’s statements and advised him to confine his politics to Andhra Pradesh.
