

Ugadi celebrations for the Sri Parabhava Nama year were held grandly at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad under the joint aegis of the Telangana Language and Culture Department and the Endowments Department. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the event as the chief guest. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, MP Vem Narender Reddy, along with MLAs, MLCs, and officials, were present.
During the event, the Chief Minister released the Ugadi Panchangam. Addressing the gathering, he stated that the new year is dedicated to farmers. He emphasized that the government aims to make agriculture profitable and strengthen farmers economically.
He said that farmers are being provided with remunerative prices along with bonuses for their produce. Telangana stands among the states with the lowest farm debt burden in the country. Nearly 70% of families in the state depend on agriculture, he added. The government has implemented loan waivers up to ₹2 lakh to relieve farmers from debt and has spent ₹18,000 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Another installment of funds will be released on the 22nd of this month.
The Chief Minister also stated that land-related issues are being addressed with new initiatives and reiterated the goal of making Telangana a leading state in the country.
He assured that the government remains alert regarding natural calamities and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people.
