Revanth’s Drama Over Land Scam... Only for AICC EMI Payments - Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s detailed discussion in the Assembly over alleged land dealings by the BRS was not aimed at public welfare, but at mobilising funds for the Congress high command. Speaking at an ‘Aashirvada Deepam’ programme organised at Kachiguda Railway Station under the leadership of BJP Central District president Deepak Reddy, Sanjay questioned why immediate action was not being taken against BRS leaders if the Chief Minister himself claimed to have evidence regarding their alleged land dealings. He also questioned the delay in the name of special inquiry commissions, SIT and SET, and alleged that the government was negotiating with BRS leaders ahead of upcoming elections.

Sanjay also rejected KTR’s claim that KCR was a landowner of hundreds of acres by birth. Referring to KCR’s 2004 election affidavit, he questioned how the present land holdings came into existence if KCR had declared at the time that he did not own even an acre. Sanjay also criticised Revanth Reddy’s remarks on the Nizam and questioned why the governments led by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had deployed the Army if the Nizam’s rule was as favourable as claimed. He alleged that the Congress and BRS were diverting attention from public issues through mutual allegations and said BJP-led double-engine governance was necessary for the state’s development.
