Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has strongly responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks alleging that opposition parties are taking ‘foreign support’ to destabilise the country. Rahul challenged the Prime Minister to participate in an open debate over the issue. Reacting to Modi’s comments, Rahul questioned the allegations and demanded that the Prime Minister explain his statements publicly.
Rahul Gandhi also made counter-allegations against Modi, claiming that foreign support played a role in bringing him to power. “Stop lying to the country. You became Prime Minister with foreign support. All your funds have come with the help of foreigners,” Rahul remarked. His comments have added another round of political confrontation between the Congress and the BJP over the issue of alleged foreign influence.
