Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly expressed strong dissatisfaction with BJP leaders over the party’s weak performance in Telangana. Despite having eight MPs from the state, the party has not been able to establish itself as a major opposition force, which has reportedly angered the Prime Minister.
During a breakfast meeting with Telugu MPs, Modi is said to have questioned why the party is unable to strengthen its position in Telangana, even though it enjoys considerable public support.
He advised leaders to put aside internal differences and work collectively to improve the party’s standing in the state. Modi also emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to raise the BJP’s graph and establish a stronger presence.
The Prime Minister reportedly pointed out that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is far more active on social media compared to the BJP Telangana unit. Modi is said to have shown evidence to support his concerns, expressing dissatisfaction with the MPs’ performance in this regard.
