Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, stating that the party has a past but no future. Speaking to the media at the Assembly premises, he alleged that the family of K. Chandrashekar Rao lacks connection with the people and is indulging in “scripted acting.” He clarified that he does not wish any harm to KCR and said it is better for everyone if the former Chief Minister remains healthy, describing him as a retired public representative.
Revanth Reddy also demanded an immediate Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project. He warned that if no action is taken, he would launch an agitation both as Chief Minister and on behalf of the Congress party, along with PCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud. He questioned Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy over earlier assurances that a probe would begin within 48 hours if the case was handed over to the CBI, asking why there has been no progress so far.
