Kavitha Meets Governor Seeking Justice for Land-Displaced Families

Kalvakuntla Kavitha stated that she met Shiv Pratap Shukla seeking justice for land-displaced families in Velugumatla of Khammam district. Speaking to the media after meeting the Governor at Raj Bhavan, she said that victims from Velugumatla, Kadlapur in Vikarabad district, and those affected by the Triple R project were present during the meeting. She urged the Governor to intervene and ensure swift resolution of their grievances.

Kavitha demanded allocation of house sites to all displaced families in Velugumatla and called for the cancellation of land acquisition notices issued for the industrial park in Kadlapur. She also raised concerns over the Triple R alignment and submitted a formal representation highlighting the issues. She warned that if justice is not delivered, they would be forced to resume protests.
