K. Kavitha on Tuesday said that a representation was submitted to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla seeking justice for the victims of Velugumatla house demolitions, Parigi land acquisition, and Triple R displaced families. Kavitha, along with Dharma Samaj Party president Vishardan Maharaj, affected villagers, and Telangana Rakshana Sena leaders, met the Governor at Raj Bhavan and explained the grievances of people impacted by land acquisition and displacement projects across the state.
Addressing the media later, Kavitha strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and termed the Congress government “anti-people.” She stated that continuous protests by Telangana Rakshana Sena and allied groups had forced the government to partially respond to the demands of affected families. According to Kavitha, the government agreed to allot land to Velugumatla victims at the same location and temporarily halted land acquisition works in Parigi and Triple R areas. She warned that if justice is not delivered completely, the agitation would intensify again in the coming days.
